Cost of Living Help

The cost of living crisis is making life harder for many families in our community.  If you require assistance in accessing benefits or other sources of additional income we have a dedicated service to support you. 

In addition to our FISO a number of other organisations are available to help you.  In school, our Family Liaison Offciers are also on hand to help.  If you would like some advice they can becontacted on 0141 582 0260, option 3.

Anyone experiencing any difficulties and in need of advice and guidance on a range of issues can contact Glasgow Helps

Glasgow NE Foodbank

Our foodbank operates on a referral system. Once you have been issued with a voucher, you can exchange this for a minimum of three days of emergency food at your nearest foodbank centre.

Our normal opening hours are

Monday 1pm - 3pm 

Wednesday 10.30am - 12.30pm 

Friday 1pm.- 3pm

FARE Scotland

FARE provide a service that ensures no child goes without. This year with the cost of living crisis and the fuel crisis there are more young people and families in need. Referrals can be submitted from local Housing Associations, Police, Social work and other Community organisations.

Mental health services at NHS 24

Anyone can experience mental health issues, at any point in their life, and the rising cost of living can have a major impact. You don’t have to deal with these problems alone. NHS 24 mental health services are available to everyone in Scotland. The services we offer include listening, offering advice, and guiding you to further help if required.
